Joe moved to Cape Cod 10 years ago
in part to take advantage of the
opportunity to expand his photography
career. He has been a photographer
for most of his adult life as a wedding
photographer, publication
photography, portrait photography and
as a landscape photographer.
As most photographers have, Joe
moved to digital photography 7 years
ago which has allowed him to expand
his photographic opportunities. He
currently shoots with a Cannon Pro 1
and utilized Photoshop CS and prints on
a Epson 7800. The printer is an archival
printer and printed on Kodak or Epson
paper/canvas.
The subject matter that Joe has
focused on is the natural beauty of
cape cod and more recently in the past
few years he has focused his attention
on the natural flowers of cape cod and
flower gardens. The emphasis has been
on a capturing his subjects in early
morning light varying the camera
setting to capture both close range
detail and larger detailed full
landscapes.
Emphasis of all of his photography is to
capture the color of his subject matter
without the altering of the natural
beauty that exists in nature. With the
availability of the beauty that exists in
flowers, nature and natural beauty of
the landscape of cape cod there are
endless opportunities to expand his
portfolio.
