Harry Rubinstein first learned
scientific glass blowing while
studying for his doctoral degree in
Chemistry at Purdue University.
Harry taught scientific glass
blowing to graduate students for
almost 32 years, while serving as a
professor of Chemistry at the
University Massachusetts, Lowell.
During this period he studied
stained glass technology and
techniques of glass slumping and
fusing. Presently Harry has retired
from teaching and is practicing his
craft in Wellfleet on Cape Cod.
Jean Rubinstein coordinates all
the glass designs and specialty art
work used in the custom glass
designs.
