I have always been an artist. My earliest
memories involve days spent drawing,
building, creating in an imaginative
environment. Ten years ago I began
exhibiting my work at art shows and fairs
across the northeast, nurturing and
cultivating a variety of mixed media
product lines. Art has always been my way
of communicating, my escape, the
pathway to my heart. It reflects the humor,
joy, questions, and sometimes sadness, of
my world. During times of difficult personal
transition, I began to keep a journal in
words and pictures. It was a place to hold
and digest life, to sort things out and let
them go.
As part of my journey, I began to take
selected pieces and shared them with the
world. Women reacted to the pieces with
hearts wide open; my stories were also
theirs. The response was overwhelming.
